Wrightsville Beach Family Trip

My family and I recently enjoyed a stay in Wrightsville Beach. Sat, we drove in and we stayed at a very clean well manicured Hilton Garden Inn Wilmington Mayfaire Town Center 5 miles from the beach but still very close to lots of shops and restaurants. All Sunday aft we spent on the coast, without cell phones, texting, pagers, email, internet, cable tv. . . .just the ocean, a nice breeze, our portable folding beach chairs and time. . . time to sit and reflect, to talk and connect, time to build a sandcastle with my son. To top the day off, we love seafood, we had some of the best Crab Cakes ever from a restaurant right on the beach called the Oceanic. This was really one of the best weekend getaways we have had!
